I hated my jobs.  I was in a rut, living from paycheck to paycheck, and barely getting by.  I was bored out of my mind working my tedious jobs, I thought I was going brain death.  Yet, I kept working for the corporate America for years, because I thought that was what I was supposed to do.  When I got laid off for the third time, I didn’t know what to do next.  But one thing was for sure – I wasn’t getting another job.

I was born and grew up in Japan, and I never felt I fit in their society.  I came to the U.S. when I was 20, without knowing anybody here, by myself.  It was my first time leaving my country, first time going away from my parents, and first time even flying.  I know, I must have been crazy.  I love the land of opportunity, but it means absolutely nothing if you don’t take advantage of it.

So after the third layoff, I went on to do a variety of things, from modeling and acting to network marketing to starting businesses, and a lot of struggling.  I refused to go back to a job and although I loved the freedom, I desperately needed to find my path to success that makes me feel fulfilled.  After a lot of soul searching and working with my life coach, realized I had a coach in me as well, and I loved the idea of making it my career.

I was happy that I finally found something meaningful and I was passionate about.  However, starting a new business is of course not easy, and it’s not like I had a big budget to promote myself.  In fact, I had almost none.  But I really needed to start making money, and was hungry for any help.

One day, I found this man in network marketing who went from having no internet experience and low budget, to promoting his website to a top 40,000 site on Alexa in just a few months.  I never made money in my last MLM and I wasn’t sold on the idea, but I knew I needed a piece of his action.  I decided to grab the opportunity and follow his methods and marketing system.

Through this system, I was immediately plugged into a whole array of marketing training which has been invaluable.  The training taught me the concept of attraction marketing and how to cultivate relationship, and that is how I found my current business where I’ve had far more success than my previous network marketing stint.  I’m extremely happy I found what I did and made the decision when I did, as my business continues to grow.
