About Me

Ellie Yamane, MLM CoachHi there, I’m flattered that you stopped by this page to learn about me.

I was born and grew up in Japan, and I never felt I fit in their society.  I came to the U.S. when I was 20, without knowing anybody here, by myself.  It was my first time leaving my own country, first time going away from my parents, and first time even flying.. that might tell you a little bit about me.

Initially, I came here to go to school, but quickly the practical side of me took over.  I didn’t know what I wanted to study, so why waste time and money?  So I found a full time job.  Welcome to Corporate America.

I worked 9-5 for over 10 years.  I hated all my jobs for the most part.  I was in a rut, living from paycheck to paycheck, and barely getting by.  I was bored out of my mind working my tedious jobs, I thought I was going brain death.  I got laid off three times, and on the third time, I swore I wasn’t going back to another job.

That’s when I found my first MLM through a friend of mine.  I figured, since I’m unemployed, why not?  I loved the simple concept – you get paid and go up in the ranking based on your production – in other words, I could achieve all that if I just work for it.  No experience or education requirements, no layoff, and no office politics.

I had a very supportive upline, but the only marketing I was taught was approaching warm market, 4 foot rule, and calling people out of phone book.  Yes, I made a lot of cold calling random people out of phone book.  I worked hard.  I was with this company for about a year and I managed to enroll 4 people.  It was rather difficult to make money with this company, and I couldn’t see myself doing this for a long time.

I didn’t touch antoher MLM after that, and frankly, didn’t care to.  But I wound up in the industry again by accident several years later.  By this time, I had learned a lot about marketing, and internet had changed the game a bit.  I figured I’d take another stab.

I’ve spent time learning everything I could get my hands on, and worked around the clock, and I’ve been able to generate leads online on a consistent basis.  I’ve found consistency in taking the right action in the right vehicle to be a great success combination.  As an entrepreneur, you have the power to write your own future.  How would you like to never have to work for anybody else?  No alarm clock, no traffic, no boss.
